BONNIE
GREENBERG

Bonnie is the founder of Impressive Ideas, and has shaped the store and each of us in special ways.

She comes from a background of nearly 30 years of university teaching (which has found its way into classes at Impressive Ideas).  Although she can "barely draw a straight line with a  ruler", she quickly realized she could stamp a great image, emboss it, color it with pencils or markers, and achieve great personal satisfaction.  Stamping has become a way to immerse herself for a few hours, and not realize how much time has gone by.

Bonnie's love of teaching and interacting with customers has cultivated an amazing community through the store, known to many as "Everyone's Happy Place".

JENNY

SILLAY GROPP

Jenny started out as a scrapbooker and was very slow to get in to the stamping world. Initially, she stayed far away from coloring, but has completely done a 180 and is now our resident Copic expert. She is genuinely interested in making sure that students understand Copics and leave Impressive Ideas with a workable knowledge of blending and Copic color combinations. She has been teaching Copic Classes for over ten years. Jenny also teaches our Cartonnage Classes, which is the unique French style of building boxes. Studying with Italian and French instructors has expanded her knowledge and skills. We are proud to be able to offer this specialized art form to our customers.

MIRIAM
NAPIER

Miriam has been a scrapbooker all her life, documenting and journaling events for herself and her family.  As the crafting industry exploded in the early 2000s, so did Miriam's interests.  She quickly grew to love working with Graphic 45's unique papers, and so started her journey with Impressive Ideas. Miriam is our resident Zentangler and is CZT certified. Some of her favorite techniques and products include Tim Holtz, Art Impressions, Altenew, and Penny Black.  She created samples and taught classes for Impressive Ideas for many years while at the Roswell location.  In 2015, she joined the store as a partner and now spends her days in the shop doing what she loves and keeping the rest of us in line!

KAREN

AMIDON

Karen has spent her entire life designing in some form. She has worked in the floral industry, focusing on wedding designs. She has traveled the country designing award winning vignettes for showrooms. She popped into the Roswell store one day with the idea of creating a journal for a family member. Little did she know that day was the beginning of another creative journey. Karen was quickly hooked on all things paper crafting.  Her amazing abilities were instantly recognized- she began designing and teaching in the Roswell store. Some of her favorite techniques and companies to work with include Impression Obsession, Stamping Bella, Whipper Snapper Designs, and designing explosion boxes. Karen has a talent for arranging and choosing color palettes that make her designs stand out. Her creations are always packed with details and tiny embellishments that have come to be known as her signature style. Walking through the store, you can immediately recognize Karen's signature cards.
